Individual
critical incident support

Critical incidents don't impact us all the same. Your experience, your recovery, and your reactions deserve a response that respects that.

ForestView's approach is grounded in evidence-based strategies that prioritize what your mind and body need most - stability, support, and choice.

FINDING YOUR FOOTING. INDIVIDUALIZED SUPPORT. PERSONAL AUTONOMY.

After a difficult call, it's common to feel like your mind is racing, your patience is shorter, your sleep is off, or you're simply not yourself. Before focusing on what happened, we focus on helping you regain your footing. We identify practical strategies that help you settle, think clearly, and reconnect with the strengths that have worked in the past. It's not about "fixing" you—it's about helping you find solid ground so you can move forward with confidence.

FINDING YOUR FOOTING
Goal: Stablize. Regulate.
Restore.

AN EVIDENCE-INFORMED APPROACH

Individualized support

No two first responders experience the same critical incident in the same way. Instead of following a predetermined process, we work together to identify what will be most helpful in this moment—whether that's practical coping strategies, education, additional support, or simply the space to process at your own pace. Recovery is most effective when it reflects your experience, your strengths, and your goals.

Goal: The Right Support. At Right Time. For You.
Personal Autonomy

Critical incidents can leave even the most experienced first responders feeling like control has been taken away. Our role isn't to direct your recovery—it's to help you regain confidence in your ability to navigate it. You'll never be pushed into a conversation, expected to respond a certain way, or measured against someone else's experience. We provide evidence-based guidance, practical tools, and a steady presence while you stay in charge of your own experience.

Goal: Your recovery. Your decisions. Your pace.

PRACTICAL TOOLS THAT WORK IN REAL LIFE.

Trained in Acute Stress Adaptive Protocol (ASAP)

The Acute Stress Adaptive Protocol (ASAP) is an evidence-informed, EMDR-based targeted intervention developed specifically for first responders and other high-stress professions. Rather than requiring you to relive or recount every detail of a critical incident, ASAP is designed to help reduce the immediate impact of traumatic stress, restore a sense of stability, and support your brain's natural recovery process. As an ASAP-trained and EMDR-Certified clinician, I integrate this approach when appropriate to help you regain your footing, strengthen resilience, and continue building capacity for the work— and life— ahead.

Critical incidents are part of the profession.
Building the capacity to move through them well is part
of protecting your career, your relationships, and your life.
